Stafford Brothers Return To Purple Fly With Club Anthem “Rage,” Showcasing Their Sonic Diversity

It’s been a bit since we’ve been bitten by the Purple Fly bug, so we might as well go see what is going on in their neck of the woods. On our latest visit over to Purple Fly we are checking out “Rage”, the latest from Stafford Brothers. For those of you who haven’t heard of Purple Fly, it is a brand new music label making a major splash in the current market. A completely independent imprint, Purple Fly embraces the current hype around NFTs in the cryptocurrency world with one goal in mind…support their artists. On a larger scale, Purple Fly aims to support collaborations of all forms of art, connecting music and stunning visuals for a truly immersive experience. The label will be dropping NFTs with each music drop, allowing direct support from fans for their favorite artists. There are many artists joining in the movement, including the Stafford Brothers Golf Pichaya Zafrir, MSPUIYI, Goldfish,  DJ SODA, Hard Lights, Flaremode, IZKO, Danny Ores, Drezio, Laidback LukeBLVD.Fatman ScoopShaquille O’NealSevenn, and more as part of the Purple Fly roster. Hell, Stafford Brothers are already back for a 2nd round, as no one can get enough of that Purple Fly magic.

“After dropping ‘I Miss You’ – a cover from the Blink 182 legends, we wanted to send ‘Rage’ in a different direction and drop a club banger next… We tend to jump between releasing the easy listening vibes for that pick-me-up in the daytime to the heavier bassline tracks for the night. For anyone that has seen us play live, they know it’s everything but chill! For ‘Rage’ we wanted to drop something we can go nuts to on the dancefloor. Large low end, big build-ups, and a vocal that slapsssss” – Stafford Brothers

When you’re hot off the heels of paying homage to one of the most prominent bands of all time, you might encounter some difficulty on how to proceed next. Hot after releasing a cover of Blink182’s “I Miss You”, Stafford Brothers were primed and ready to take their sound in a different direction. What better place to experiment with your sound than Purple Fly a literal playground for artists to tweak their formulas and try something different, The latest addition to the Stafford Brothers catalog, “Rage”, is the duo pivoting hard to the right and expanding upon their skillset in the club scene. Using a grimy drop and funky melodies to up the interest factor, “Rage” has all of the markings of a dancefloor banger.
