R3HAB Touches-Up an EDM Classic For a New Age in "Around the World"

Sometimes you find that track that just needs a tune-up to modern standards. This week we are hopping over to CYB3RPVNK for R3HAB’s latest track, a modern version of A Touch of Class’s “All Around the World (La La La)”. Since starting his career seven years ago, this Dutch/Moroccan producer has been evolving and growing in the grassroots of the modern music community. Since his adventure began, R3HAB has toured some of the best clubs in the world and amassed more than 300 million streams of his debut album. What is actually amazing however is that R3HAB was able to accomplish this with no major label backing, only working through his CYB3RPVNK imprint.
Now we were a bit finicky about covering this one, as “All Around the World (La La La)” is not only a classic in the electronic community, but it was one of our gateway tracks to this underground world. However, if anyone was going to touch-up the track for a modern age, we are glad it is R3HAB. In this version, R3HAB keeps the signature intro vocal work but changes the production from a Europop/techno sound to a funky driving club beat. With “Around the World” we feel that R3HAB preserved enough of the original track to entice fans of A Touch of Class, and just gave it a cosmetic makeover for a new age.
Make sure you check out R3HAB’s remix on Spotify, as well as the music video, below!
