Sometimes we forget that when you produce tracks for so many other artists, your own style can breathe once you return to the studio. Kicking off this week we have “Party Girl”, the latest bouncy single from R3HAB. Since his adventure began, R3HAB has toured some of the best clubs in the world and amassed more than 300 million streams of his debut album. What is actually amazing however is that R3HAB was able to accomplish this with no major label backing, only working through his CYB3RPVNK imprint. Through his expanded efforts to increase CYB3RPVNK’s roster, R3HAB has been recruiting a fantastic variety of up and comers to provide a major range of music to his audience. With R3HAB consistently popping up on our radar, we have absolutely no idea what he is going to do next and can’t wait.
“I haven’t done something like this in a while, and I must say it felt great working on this track. It is a different version with a different sound, but when you hear it, you will definitely recognize the touch of R3HAB.” – R3HAB on “Party Girl“
While we have been addicted to R3HAB’s consistent flow of collabs with a large variety of artists when he drops a solo track we can’t help but listen. Since R3HAB’s original sound is what hooked us in the first place, as fans we need a reminder of that once in a while. R3HAB may be joining the fray finally embracing Tik Tok for its music talent, we don’t mind when R3HAB throws in own twist into the mix. Originally made popular by StaySolidRocky over on Tik Tok, “Party Girl” starts with a mellow hip-hop beat to attract younger audiences. However, R3HAB injects the track with his party-ready electronic sound and it’s over, completely changed for the better.
