Mario Gonzalez, better known by his project name Lster, is a talented electronic music producer and DJ hailing from Lansing, Michigan. With his innate passion for music and a natural talent for crafting captivating sounds, Lster has quickly made a name for himself in the electronic music scene. Lster’s musical journey took off with the release of his debut EP, “Analog Dreams,” in July of 2021. This exceptional collection of tracks showcased his unique style and garnered significant attention, amassing nearly 15,000 streams on SoundCloud in just a few months. The EP’s success served as a testament to Lster’s ability to connect with listeners through his music and solidified his place as a promising artist in the industry. Continuing to push his creative boundaries, Lster constantly explores new sonic territories, blending elements of bass-heavy records, downtempo beats, and everything in between. “This EP is titled In Real Time. I came to this name because I felt like it represented this group of tunes perfectly. As an artist, when you make advancements in music production you tend to fall in love with what you’re currently working on, but your older works seem juvenile in a sense. These 4 songs represent my recent growth as a musician/ artist and all of the lessons I’ve acquired in the last couple months. I’m continuously growing in real time and continuing to release the pieces that I’m most proud of.” – Lster

This groovy bass EP showcases Lster’s exceptional sound design and glitchy beats, offering a fresh take on bass music. The EP takes listeners on a fast-paced journey, seamlessly blending different styles and concepts that Lster has been working on. In Real Time offers a variety of captivating tracks. “Cruising Through” sets the tone with spacey sound effects and synths, transitioning into a lively downtempo drop with powerful bass growls. The second drop adds glitchy effects and vocal chops, building up to an even bigger climax. “Mal Funktion” embraces glitchy bass elements, featuring fast-paced wubs and irresistible drum grooves. “The Experiment” takes a different direction, starting with live flute and tribal voices before diving into heavy kicks and silent moments, accompanied by catchy string instruments. The EP concludes with “Feel Real,” beginning with an emotional piano and distant female vocals, leading to heavy wubs and full female vocals.
