Moodygee, Azooland & Jordan Grace Team Up For Organic House Single “Higher” On Purple Fly

We thought we could escape from the Purple Fly, we thought wrong. On our latest visit over to Purple Fly we are checking out “Higher”, the latest single from Moodygee, Azooland, and Jordan Grace. For those of you who haven’t heard of Purple Fly, it is a brand new music label making a major splash in the current market. A completely independent imprint, Purple Fly embraces the current hype around NFTs in the cryptocurrency world with one goal in mind…support their artists. On a larger scale, Purple Fly aims to support collaborations of all forms of art, connecting music and stunning visuals for a truly immersive experience. The label will be dropping NFTs with each music drop, allowing direct support from fans for their favorite artists. There are many artists joining in the movement, including the Moodygee, Azooland, Jordan Grace, Stafford Brothers Golf Pichaya,  Zafrir, MSPUIYI, Goldfish,  DJ SODA, Hard Lights, Flaremode, IZKO, Danny Ores, Drezio, Laidback Luke, BLVD., Fatman Scoop, Shaquille O’Neal, Sevenn, and more as part of the Purple Fly roster. Hell, Stafford Brothers are already back for a 2nd round, as no one can get enough of that Purple Fly magic.

We’ve had enough big room upscaled house tracks as of late, so we need to jump to the other end of the spectrum. With so many talented artists on this track, we were prepared for a jumbled track that would have each artist have their own distinct section. However, we recieved the exact opposite, with each contributing adding to the pile and creating a low groove single that we can get behind. While “Higher” does have uplifting elements, Moodygee and Azooland create a minimal mask around the core instrumental in order to obtain the sound they wanted. The result is a transformation into a positive feel-good single but played down with minimal house beats and low grooves that lure you over to the dance floor, but this time only if you want to. Plenty of mild coaxing to enhance the fun factor.
