Introducing Gud Vibrations, New Label From SLANDER and NGHTMRE, First Release With Wavedash’s "Deathwish"
Now that each of these artists have started receiving plenty of their own praise, it makes natural sense that they would team up. This week we are checking out “Deathwish”, the latest release from Wavedash. What makes this track special, however, is that it is the initial release of the new Gud Vibrations label! Founded by successful artists NGHTMRE and SLANDER, the Gud Vibrations idea began when they started their careers in 2014. The idea has since evolved and has become a multi-event series, selling out at every venue where it is booked. This is just the beginning though, as we can’t wait to see more and feel those Gud Vibrations.
When you are officially creating a record label, your first release has to make a statement for what your label is all about. Well, the first Gud Vibrations protege is Wavedash; with his latest release coinciding with the launch perfectly. “Deathwish” lures listeners in with soothing melodic vocal work, but quickly throws us into complete chaos. Listeners are assaulted with intense percussion and heavy bass, easily distorting the lovely journey that we were coaxed into joining on. NGHTMRE and SLANDER have made it clear, this mix of melody and heavy elements will quickly become the norm at Gud Vibrations.
Make sure you check out “Deathwish” on Spotify!
