On our latest visit over to Purple Fly we are checking out “No Fool”, the latest drop from Behmer, Moodygee, and BodyBangers. For those of you who haven’t heard of Purple Fly, it is a brand new music label making a major splash in the current market. A completely independent imprint, Purple Fly embraces the current hype around NFTs in the cryptocurrency world with one goal in mind…support their artists. Man, this track takes me back. When I was first introduced to the deeper levels of electronic music in college, I fully dove into the hardstyle, shuffle, and Melbourne bounce deep end…and I am ready to wade back in. Having joined the Purple Fly family recently, Behmer is already injecting is house/bounce music blend into the formula. “No Fool” takes those signature Behmer elements and adds them into the mixing bowl with an almost bubblegum pop melody that contrasts the rest of the track, but in the best way possible. The inclusion of both Moodygee and BodyBangers gives an extra amount of variety to the mix, combining the best sounds from dance music in Austria and Germany seamlessly into this vocal pop style. If you need a hardstyle adjacent vocal pop gem to keep you company in your rotation, “No Fool” might just be what you’re looking for.
