As we head into our first official month without the glory and chaos of summer, it is time to add yet another artist to the MiR family. Kicking off this holiday weekend we have “Letter After F”, the latest release and first teaser from ANGELZ over on Maison Sainte. ANGELZ has been making waves for a long time in the industry, even starting out writing for Def Jam in the early days. You can clearly see the influence, as ANGELZ’s g-house style is a fantastic example of the prime blending of hip-hop and classic UK Garage. Since 2015, ANGELZ has been able to sway audiences and industry powerhouses in his favor, garnering plenty of support and over 12 million streams across music streaming services.
“Letter After F” is more than just a play on words. The track serves as the first teaser off of ANGELZ next EP Saint Thug III, which if the track is any indication of what is in store for us, we can certify it fresh already. “Letter After F” simply oozes the underground, but easily makes room for the groovy vibes that tech house brings along with it. The track has just the right amount of flair that ANGELZ is known for, yet still has plenty of new elements so we can see an evolution in his style. While Saint Thug III is the third in ANGELZ’s yearly series, this EP is the first one to be self-released on ANGELZ’s own imprint. Make sure you keep tuned here for news when the Saint Thug III releases on September 6th.
