Now we can say it has been a minute since we heard from this artist. Helping start off the weekend we have an official music video for “Drifting Away”, one Felix Cartal’s latest tracks off of the recently released album “New Season”. Felix has been busy, with multiple standalone productions with other producers including successful producer Kaskade. Felix will also be touring internationally so everyone will be able to see it sometime soon. Due to his most recent success, Felix has even garnered over 45 million streams over on his Spotify! Clearly, Felix, you are doing something right. If you are ever in Las Vegas, you can now check out Felix Cartal at his new residency at Drai’s Beach Club that started April 8th.
Man Felix, we are glad to be able to provide plenty of coverage for Next Season, especially since this is your first album in a whopping six years! The entire album is a feel-good trip, as it starts with “Stop Being Yourself” and flows through all 17 remaining tracks throughout the album. While Felix blows us out of the water with his production skills, Next Season is also complimented by the soothing vocal work and uplifting vibes that all of the guest artists bring to the table. Felix, try to not make it six years until the next album we’ll give you two.
The music video is gorgeously shot in Cape Town, South Africa and beautifully showcases the landscape. This is just one of three music videos that will be released this fall, so stay tuned!
