A Year in the Making, DVBBS Releases New “Nothing To See Here, An Ultra Collection
While we see often random spurts of popularity as we watch producers and artists reach fro the stars, there is no one who launched as quickly as DVBBS. While we were hanging over at Ultra Records we were able to check out Nothing To See Here, the latest album from DVBBS. Since we started covering DVBBS back in 2017, they have had multiple successes and expanded their musical footprint on a global scale. This Canadian duo has since massively expanded their catalog, even earning a few platinum tracks along the way. DVBBS has even reached over one billion streams online, further expanding their reach in the global music scene. DVBBS has been honing their highly energetic live performances, even launching a monumental 2019 tour schedule with 250 tour dates. We definitely need to make sure DVBBS is in our continuous rotation.

This pair of musicians have produced such a wide range of music that their versatility is almost completely unmatched. Nothing To See Here may have taken up the last year of DVBBS’s lives, but the album encompasses much more than just a year of music. A combination of a few of their best hits on Ultra and a few new bangers, Nothing To See Here is a prime example of the varied DVBBS repertoire. From the groovy and soulful feelings of “Loyal” and “Swim” to hip hop variants like “GOMF” and hopeful dream-pop tracks like “Somebody Like You”, Nothing To See Here highlights each facet of the DVBBS persona. Even though this collection is impressive, the album also details the experiences of this last year directly though DVBBS’s eyes, letting us into their mindset even if just for a few minutes.
