Who Knew Butter Can Make Music? “For Kate I Wait” (Cover)

This artist sure shows that you can’t just judge someone’s work on appearance alone. We mean, who knew that Butter could make some sweet music? This mid-week release we have “For Kate I Wait” from producer Butter, which is a cover track from fellow artist Ariel Pink. While Butter is rather new to the scene, the artist behind the pseudonym, Lola Blanc, has been captivating listeners with her electro-pop darkness for quite a while. She has even garnered some success with her initial EP The Magic EP.

As for the track, Butter’s cover takes the dark twist and brings the track into the light, bringing everyone. With just a mere tweak of the vocals and a thematic tone change, Butter has turned “For Kate I Wait” into her own beautiful work. She is able to create an eclectic and moody vibe that we quickly become her signature and we sincerely hope that we see more of this non-vegan Butter. This track is yet another track to add to your summer catalog. Are you catching up?

Butter is a little shinier, but still kind of weird.”
