We’re Finally Back! Protocol Prepares For Miami Music Week With New EP “Protocol Vibes – Miami 2022”
We’ve been out of the festival coverage game for too long and we think it is about time we fixed that. On our latest visit over to Protocol, we went down to the Sunshine State to prepare for Miami Music Week and get in the right mindset with Protocol Vibes – Miami 2022. Romero is one of the modern producers to change and mold today’s electronic music scene how he sees fit. Not only has he founded one of the most prolific modern electronic music movements, but he is also constantly on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list year after year and has attributed heavily to the global spread of electronic music. Romero continues to surprise us, even dropping a mini-doc series back in 2019 and multiple successful releases now that he’s back on the wagon. Hell, he even put on one hell of a performance at the London opening of the Call of Duty League eSports tournament. Romero’s list of accomplishments keeps growing, now including a brand new partnership with Fader Pro and a release of his own NFT collection!
After taking a break for the last 2 years from a more traditional Miami Music Week, we are going back to the fundamentals! As always, we are back with another Miami EP from the brains over at Protocol, adding another notch in the Protocol Vibes catalog. We’ve been eagerly awaiting our chance to dance again, and Protocol delivers with “Protocol Vibes – Miami 2022” EP and “Nicky Romero presents: Protocol Labelnight Miami ’22” label showcase, coming to Miami Beach‘s MYNT Lounge on March 24. The EP showcases the full range of artists the Protocol has to offer via five tracks, including contributions from Kosling, Robbie Rosen, Mr. Sid & Choujaa, Din & Vic, Wux, Ilumne as well as SOLR, Rush & Hydro. Name a better way to prepare ourselves for Miami Music Week after two long years. Go ahead, we will wait.
