Nicky Romero Connects With Visual Lab For Limited “Behind the Mask” NFT Collection on Ethernity Chain

If there was a producer that we thought would dive headfirst into the NFT market, it would be Romero. On our latest dive into the news,  we are eager to share that in an intriguing partnership with Visual Lab and Ethernity ChainNicky Romero has just dropped his own limited collection of NFTs. Romero is one of the modern producers to change and mold today’s electronic music scene how he sees fit. Not only has he founded one of the most prolific modern electronic music movements, but he is also constantly on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list year after year and has attributed heavily to the global spread of electronic music. Romero continues to surprise us, even dropping a mini-doc series back in 2019 and multiple successful releases now that he’s back on the wagon. Hell, he even put on one hell of a performance at the London opening of the Call of Duty League eSports tournament!

Since the beginning of my career I’ve been experimenting with different types of visuals for my performances, as my goal always is to elevate to the next level the experience of each attendee. After the last year’s debut of my ‘Another World‘ 3D livestream concept, the next step was inevitable. ‘Behind The Mask‘ is our first NFT collection that symbolizes the energy that the fans from around the world been giving me over the past years. I have created it with my visual team – Visual Lab, that I’ve been working with closely since day 1. We are happy to team up with the premier NFT platform Ethernity Chain for the release of ‘Behind The Mask,’ which places us among the official NFT collections of the likes of Muhammad AliPeléTony Hawk, and more.” – Nicky Romero

We’ve been creating visuals for Nicky Romero‘s releases and performances since the very beginning of our company. We know that some of those animations became memorable not only for us, but also for the fans of Nicky Romero around the world. When working on ‘Behind The Mask‘ we wanted to capture this powerful feeling of thousands of people sharing mutual memories and experiences. It’s about unity and what connects us, one with another.” – Visual Lab

Out of the wide variety of producers that we cover on Modern Neon, we figured it was only a matter of time until Nicky Romero jumped into the NFT game. Romero now joins the ranks of fellow celebs PeléTony HawkMuhammad AliFernando Tatis Jr., all who have had their NFT collections verified by Ethernity Chain. Just taking a sneak peek into the 3-tier collection, many fans of Romero will recognize the iconic mask, injecting a bit of necessary nostalgia into this new conceptual market. The NFT collection is the latest collaboration between Romero and Visual Lab, the Dutch company that has been in the NFT space for a hot minute. Having already created an NFT collection for Pelé, Romero reconnected with Visual Lab after finding plenty of success from “Another World” 3D livestream concept last year. If you are a fan of Romero’s and intrigued by the growing NFT market, the Behind the Mask collection is definitely worth looking into.
