The Evolution Continues! Party Favor Teams Up With Hip Hop Artist KingJet for New Track "Dreams"

If there is anything that we have learned writing about music, it is that more of your stand-out tracks are made when you step out of your comfort zone. Kicking everything off we are jumping back over to Area 25 for “Dreams”, a brand new collaboration between Party Favor and LA hip-hop artist KingJet. When you have the chance to work with someone like Party Favor, that is definitely not an opportunity that you turn down. With an impressive resume as a genre-bending artist and producer, Party Favor has seen plenty of glory with his multitude of original tracks such as “MDR” and “Give It To Me Twice”. Party Favor has even accomplished quite a bit as a producer for major artists like Lil Jon and ASAP Ferg, with all of his work earning him an impressive 135 million streams on Spotify.
Every artist should continue to change their formula on how their music is made if they want to keep evolving their sound. “Dreams” is an example of just a slight tweak in the Party Favor formula, allowing KingJet to inject his hip-hop knowledge into the track in order for it to grow. The track focuses more on chill basslines and melodies, almost ensuring radio play in the track’s near future. “Dreams” wasn’t made until KingJet brought in his soulful vocal work, which helps push the track deep into the realm of hip-hop electronica. As this may be just the next step in Party Favor’s evolution as an artist, we can’t wait to see what else is in store.
