When you have the chance to work with a veteran in your space, you need to take it and learn from the experience. On our latest visit over to CYB3RPVNK we are checking out “All My Love”, the latest single from Skytech and Bassjackers. We first heard of this talented producer when R3HAB found him after hearing “Tiger”, where he helped finish the track which led to over 100 million streams. R3HAB and Skytech have been working together for quite some time under the CYB3RPVNK banner, crafting festival and dancefloor-friendly tracks while also growing Skytech’s global footprint. For the last two years, Skytech has ranked in the top 2 most streamed Polish artists in the world! Whether it is through his numerous releases over on CYB3RVNK or his continued expansion deeper into the electronic music world with Fafaq under the All That MTRS moniker, Skytech is definitely a producer that you need to keep an eye on as he claws his way up that ladder in 2021 and beyond.
However, Skytech can’t be the only one snagging all of the attention this time around. Joining in on the production is Bassjackers, who have been kicking around in the EDM world since back in 2011. If fo some reason you’ve never had Bassjackers pop up on your radar, there is a large discography waiting for you. Their library consists of singles alongside Martin Garrix, Afrojack, KSHMR, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, R3HAB, and Showtek, to name a few, as well as remixes for A-list artists including Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, Moby, and Ne-Yo. Yeah, Bassrockers have been around and know talent when they see one.
Skytech has been absolutely killing it with these last few releases and there may just be another notch in his belt with this latest drop. Working alongside veteran producing duo Bassjackers, Skytech showcases exactly what can happen when a modern dj and classic duo combine their sounds into one force to be reckoned with. Taking a slightly different approach, “All My Love” introduces Bassjackers right out of the gate, leading with a bouncy and upbeat bassline that is synonymous with Bassjackers’s sound. Skytech handles the melody and overall aesthetic, using his creative retro wave melodies to craft a song that is clearly inspired by the new wave movement of the 1980s. Would could have been a very basic dancefloor single evolved into a clashing of modern and classic sounds, highlighting just how far the EDM has developed and grown since the early 2010s.
