Singer Songwriter Sizzy Rocket Drops Fun in Love Indie Pop Single “Rollerskating”

While everyone has multiple versions of themselves that they choose to show to the general public, musicians use these different faces to explore new styles and sounds. This time while cleaning out our DMs we found “Rollerskating”, the latest single from the intriguing artist Sizzy Rocket. Officially debuting all the way back in 2016 with her first album Thrills, Sizzy Rocket almost immediately found success with her viral lead single “Bestie”. Now with all of these viral credits under her belt, Sizzy Rocket created this persona of your cool best friend…we all have that one we will easily cause chaos with. Having developed a cult-like following over the years since, Sizzy Rocket continues to feed and entertain the masses with projects like 2017’s Hot Summer mixtape and 2019 album GRRRL. When not working on her own projects, Sizzy writes songs for plenty of other girl pop artists and groups.

if you’ve never heard of Sizzy Rocket before, you may get a rather distinct vibe from her catalog with such songs like “THAT BITCH” and “Smells Like Sex”. Normally Sizzy hits hard and doesn’t pull back any punches, but she’s now exploring the dream pop world as her life has changed. Inspired by her current relationship, “Rollerskating” details her feelings of falling in love and all of its terrifying yet exhilarating moments. Tossing the hard-hitting sound aside for a moment, Sizzy embraces a more fun in the sun vibe this time around. “Rollerskating” moves Sizzy’s vocal performance to the center stage, letting us hear the raw and unhindered power behind each note. You may prefer a certain side of Sizzy’s sound, but she clearly doesn’t care and does what makes her satisfied.
