Cityzen Drops Quarantine-Themed “Be At Home” EP and New Single “Insane”

While we have been teased with single after single from this enigmatic producer, until today. This week are are diving back into the CYB3RPVNK pool with the “Be At Home” EP from the enigmatic Cityzen. Cityzen is definitely a peculiar project, as his affinity for the color red when paired with his unique glasses creates a rather odd image. We have already been treated to a bit of Cityzen’s style with their first few single “Sirius”, “Rave Tech Repeat”, and “Unicorns On a Rocket Launcher”. However, Cityzen’s drive to blend futuristic beats and classic underground sounds will only further cloud his image and style. Will they be able to transport us back in time through music once again? Maybe after coming back from this mysterious hiatus will give them the refresher they needed.

Look who finally decided to drop a multi-track project, let alone an EP. Serving as a collection of his more top-notch singles as of late, the Be At Home EP features tracks that highlight each facet of the Cityzen style. The EP packages up the previous tacks we’ve heard from Cityzen throughout the summer and presents them in a quarantined-themed present for the masses. To top everything off, we also received the brand new track “Insane” to kick off the collection. Utilizing a blend of four on the floor and tech house, the track offers a dose of positive energy in a time where it is virtually nonexistent. Also, did we mention that Cityzen dropped quite the acid trip of a music video for “Insane”? This one is definitely worth checking out for fans of Cityzen’s hybrid sound.
