Maya Killtron makes music at the intersection of past and future, blending funk, jazz, disco, pop, and soul with modern production and a style entirely her own. A classically trained violinist with years of experience as a backup vocalist, touring musician, and producer for Juno, Polaris, and Grammy-winning and nominated artists, Maya brings serious musicianship without sacrificing personality or fun. Toronto singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Maya Killtron returns with “Touch This Body,” a playful, groove-heavy single about keeping desire alive long after the honeymoon phase fades. Co-written with newly Grammy-winning producer HiFiLo, “Touch This Body” pairs Maya’s playful songwriting with expansive synths, polished rhythms, and Sheila E.-inspired funk energy.
