Some of our favorite producers have become chameleons in their field, we never know exactly what we are going to receive. Kicking off our weekend we are following Protocol for a dose of Marc Benjamin, who just dropped “Fall For You” the newest addition to his catalog. Our veteran this time around, Marc Benjamin, decided to make his comeback on Protocol for the single reason, to flourish on the Protocol stage. Benjamin brings his impeccable taste and knowledge in production to the Protocol team, which is always a valued asset. While Nicky Romero led Protocol Recordings has always been on the front lines of showcasing upcoming music artists, it’s refreshing to see even Protocol breaking their protocol (#sorrynotsorry) to try something new. Bravo.
Marc Benjamin loves changing up his styles and keeping audiences on their toes, which is one reason why we keep following him. Benjamin tackles progressive house in “Fall For You”, adding his own sultry twist to slowly entice the audience to come hither. Benjamin injects a combination of bouncy basslines and melodies that are pumped to the brim with groove that manipulates that track into bending to the will of its creator. Benjamin has found a safe space in between being too radio-friendly and too dance-floor friendly so “Fall For You” easily exists in both spectrums. After being on fire in 2018, we can’t wait to see what he brings to the table in 2019.
Make sure you “Fall For You” on Spotify!
