Low Blow Pays Homage to His Spanish Roots With Latin & Jungle Inspired Tech-House Track “Tupapa” with IVAX.
Even though you’ve been in the scene for quite some time and have expanded your sound range, it is often still a hell of a time to go back to your roots. On our latest visit over to Protocol we are checking out “Tupapa”, the latest drop from Low Blow and Ivax. Today’s artist, Low Blow, is an energy-producing duo hailing out of Spain and bringing an almost neo style along with them. Primarily focusing on electro-house originals and remixes, Low Blow has been incredibly busy over the last year making their mark in the EDM world. After a year of producing Low Blow caught the eye of TurnItUp Music and that put their music into a global rotation. The duo has gained plenty of recognition through official remixes of DANK & Lorensa‘s “One Life,” Sick Individuals & Justin Prime‘s “Guilty” feat. Nevve and Nicky Romero & Sick Individuals‘ “Only for You.”
As the weather finally starts to warm up and everyone shakes off their winter blues, it is about time we’ve had an injection of upbeat carefree flair into the equation. With Low Blow further expanding their catalog with “Tupapa”, they utilized this chance to pay homage to where their initial inspiration came from…Latin music. While at its core “Tupapa” is a tech house track through and through, Low Blow plays with Latin influences to generate almost a South American jungle vibe to the single as a whole. Recruiting newcomer Ivax to join him in the producer, Low Blow showcases his dynamic range and willingness to experiment and tweak his style in order to tread unfamiliar ground. As fans of Latin music from our early years, we’re beyond thrilled that Latin music continues to worm its way into EDM in 2023…this is going to be one hell of a summer.
