Italian Duo Sisters Cap Drops 5th Single on Protocol, Funky House Gem “I Wanna Be”
As Protocol continues to grow and mold throughout 2022, they continue to attract talented blood to their roster. On our latest visit over to Protocol we are checking out “I Wanna Be”. the latest single from Sisters Cap. While you might not know them by name just yet, Sisters Cap are quickly making their home within the confines of Protocol Recordings. Italian sisters Sisters Cap has performed at multiple global venues such as Croatia‘s Papaya, China‘s Playhouse and EDC, India‘s Playboy Club, Italy‘s Tenax, and more. With this latest single being the duo’s fifth release on the album, Sisters Cap have been featured on Protocol‘s annual ADE 2021, ADE 2020, and Miami 2021 EPs. Outside of Protocol. Sisters Cap has also received support from the likes of Hardwell, Tiësto, Don Diablo, Nicky Romero, Dannic, and Laidback Luke to name a few.
After covering general Protocol news and artist spotlights for quite some time at this point, we normally have a solid idea of what we are going to subject ourselves to when we accept a Protocol request. Also, since we have showcased Sisters Cap before, we tend to know what kind of style of single they will release. However, much to our surprise, Sisters Cap’s latest focus on the world of funk has flipped our prepared script, changing it’s position in the Protocol lineup. “I Wanna Be” is a funky house gem that is almost guaranteed to light up the dancefloor, with a beat that almost forcibly pushes you into the center of the crowd and lose all your inhibitions, even if it is just for a few minutes. As winter starts to fade away and the early workings of festival season begins around the world, we have no doubt that “I Wanna Be” will be a mainstay on party-starting playlists for a good chunk of 2022.
