Going Deep with Armada, Plastik Funk Releases New Track “Damaged Heart (Club Mix)”
After a rather intriguing work week that could only be as chaotic as ever, it is about time we kicked up a chair and listened to the latest that Armada brings us. This week we have the latest from Plastik Funk, who we featured last week, but is already bring us another release with his “Damaged Heart” (Club Mix). The man behind the stage name, Rafael Ximenez-Carrillo, has been rather busy making waves and generating music for the masses. Rafael has played some of the best festivals and shows underneath Armada Music. Most recently, Rafael began his #FunkYouVeryMuch Monthly Radion Show which is just filled with pure energetic tracks.
Now does “Damaged Heart” hold up to Plastic Funk’s continually growing catalog of releases? The track is a beautiful tale about someone who has a broken heart that needs help mending. “Damaged Heart” has plenty of deep and groovy dance beats that almost pushes you all the way out of your chair to dance. Artist Alex Prince adds plenty of delicious vocal work to the track, taking it to the next level. “Alex Prince is an old friend and an amazing artist, writer and singer,” says Plastik Funk of the collaboration, “We’ve been playing the track for quite a while, but now it’s finally getting released and we can’t wait to show to all our fans!”
Make sure you give the “Damaged Hearts” club mixes a full listen below:
