How Did We End Up in This Lounge? Fabrikate’s “Your Grooves”

Who is ready to Fabrikate a good time? Today we have just that track you’re looking for from our Canadian friends Fabrikate, who bring us their latest release “Your Grooves”. By no means a household name, Fabrikate exploded on the scene after garnering success from Shazam for the remix of The Weeknd’s “The Hills”, Fabrikate is continuing on their trail of success with the release of the last album “Bodies”, which gained millions of streams and even support from major powerhouse Diplo. Clearly, this duo is doing something right.

Alright, this track is another one to add to the experimental nostalgic production catalog. “Your Grooves” opens with a dark lounge feel, right from the very first beat, and already sets the tone for the rest of the track.  While it may sound like this is straight from vinyl, Fabrikate’s modern synth work and super percussion push it into the modern era. To give it even more of a seedy nostalgic lounge theme, Fabrikate even includes some sultry vocal work and the smooth sounds of the sax to wrap the package up in a nice little bow.

Make sure you give “Your Grooves” a full listen below:
