Futuristic Polar Bears & Jaimes Partner With MasterCraft UK & Purple Fly For “WitchCraft”, Along With NFT-Backed MasterCraft UK’s NXT 20 Motorboat Giveaway
While we may know this talented duo for the work on a particular label, even they have been enticed by the Purple Fly movement. On out latest visit over to Purple Fly we are checking out “WitchCraft”, the latest from Futuristic Polar Bears, MasterCraft UK, & Jaimes. At this point in time, the Futuristic Polar Bears couldn’t have picked a better imprint to showcase their talent. Since their Protocol debut back in 2018, Futuristic Polar Bears have been busy in the study crafting their idyllic style of house music. While “Better Than This” is only their second track for Protocol, they have released tracks for major imprints such as Spinnin’, Armada, and Ultra. Since we last checked back in on them earlier this year, Futuristic Polar Bears have performed on 5 of the 7 continents and headlined major festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ministry of Sound. Here’s to the latest talent to join the Purple Fly roster!
For those of you who haven’t heard of Purple Fly, it is a brand new music label making a major splash in the current market. A completely independent imprint, Purple Fly embraces the current hype around NFTs in the cryptocurrency world with one goal in mind…support their artists. On a larger scale, Purple Fly aims to support collaborations of all forms of art, connecting music and stunning visuals for a truly immersive experience. The label will be dropping NFTs with each music drop, allowing direct support from fans for their favorite artists. There are many artists joining in the movement, including DJ SODA, Hard Lights, Flaremode, IZKO, Danny Ores, Drezio, Laidback Luke, BLVD., Fatman Scoop, Shaquille O’Neal, Sevenn, and more as part of the Purple Fly roster. With more and more talent joining their ranks, Purple Fly is going to be a major force to be reckoned with very soon.
In an interesting fusion of art, music, and sports, “WitchCraft” is an interesting release that anyone involved in the NFT space should be watching. In partnership with talented boatmakers over at MasterCraft UK, Futuristic Polar Bears are releasing not only an NFT for “WitchCraft” alongside Purple Fly, but also a custom NXT 20 motorboat personalized by Moschino‘s designer Stefano Lo Muzio from MasterCraft UK. While we have seen brands actively take a role in the production of an EDM single, it is more interesting to see a talented duo like Futuristic Polar Bears partner up for an NFT-backed project. As more and more brands throw their hats into the NFT ring, we hope to see more intriguing collaborations that help further validate the space.
