Enhance Your Life With Some Future House: Mike Shiver’s “Stay”
About time, we needed some more Swedish future house in our lives. This weekend we are showcasing rising Swedish producer Mike Shiver with his latest release “Stay”. While riding the wave of success from his previous release “Calling on You”, Shiver became incredibly inspired with the reception so he decided to follow it up with another underground hit. Shiver plans to keep hybridizing genres while showing off his natural style.
Shiver claims that “Stay” is another mixture of pop and future house, serving as an example of Shiver’s skills at genre blurring. While he focuses on the future house groove and features it predominantly, Shiver also incorporates an electro-pop melody that is simply gold when combined together. Shiver incorporated a bass line that he had written years earlier to work as the foundation for what has now become “Stay”. Does “Stay” seem like the hybrid future house track that it is supposed to be? You tell us.
