DØBER & Almero Join Together In Studio For Bass Meets Tech House Single “I Got Some”
While we are all for artists tweaking the formula of their music, sometimes all we want is a trip back to the fundamentals. On our latest visit over to Protocol we are checking out “I Got Some”, the latest drop from DØBER and Almero. Now that DØBER found his place in the roster, there are plenty of other producers and artists ready and waiting for this tech-house newcomer. For those of you unfamiliar with the works of DØBER, you definitely have a long list to catch up on. Drawing plenty of inspiration from artists such as Dogblood, ZHU and Gesaffelstein, DØBER is an incredibly talented producer that drives the hard-hitting side of Protocol forward. Since making his 2020’s debut “Twisted” EP, DØBER has quickly become one of the leading artists in Protocol’s roster.
What happens when you shove and Dutch and French producer into the same studio? Let’s take a look. The latest to come out of DØBER’s camp, “I Got Some” is a fundamental house track that puts the focus on what matters most…the bass. Utilizing a driving bassline as its core, DØBER and Almero bring the best of bass and tech-house music together to form an amalgamation of bass. Primed to be a late-night house gem, the track’s driving bass and grimy synth work is enough to force even non=dancers back onto the dancefloor, keeping the night alive even as the fire burns out. With another tech-house banger like “I Got Some” under his belt, DØBER is quickly becoming one of the faces of Protocol…definitely, one we have to continue to keep our eye on for the foreseeable future.
