BLVD. & Fatman Scoop Drop First Single “Miami” At New NFT Fueled Label Purple Fly
As the NFT space continues to grow, more and more applications are converting to an NFT-supported format. On our first visit over to Purple Fly we are checking out “Miami”, the latest single from BLVD. and Fatman Scoop. Determined to show listeners a grittier side of house music, BLVD is stepping onto the stage to make a major splash on the industry. While BLVD is relatively unknown by the general populace, he has already received support from Diplo & Friends, RL Grime, and Ekali just to name a few. If you ask us, we’d say that those are quality people to have in your corner as you make your way up the electronic ladder.
For those of you who haven’t heard of Purple Fly, it is a brand new music label making a major splash in the current market. A completely independent imprint, Purple Fly embraces the current hype around NFTs in the cryptocurrency world with one goal in mind…support their artists. While BLVD.’s production sets the tone and chaos from the first note, legendary rapper Fatman Scoop‘s rap verses absolutely increase the hype levels 10 fold. Thanks to BLVD.’s wide range of influences, the track fuses elements of trap, dubstep, reggaeton, and psytrance while letting the seasoned veteran Scoop works his magic on the mic. Fun fact, “Miami” is actually an ode to the city itself, being both BLVD. and Fatman Scoop’s favorite city and a major location for the growth of the electronic music world.
