Wakaan Label Boss Liquid Stranger Demonstrates Free-Form Bass Mastery in New “DIMENSIONS” EP
Once the label boss is kicking down your door, you know you open up and be ready for whatever they have to offer. On our latest visit over to Wakaan we are checking out DIMENSIONS, the latest EP drop from Liquid Stranger. There aren’t many producers out in the scene right now that embody the concept of fluidity and have made their name in the practice quite like Liquid Stranger. Our mainstay producer in today’s modern EDM scene, Liquid Stranger makes it completely known upfront that if you are going to partake in a Liquid Stranger experience, you better prepare yourself for a genre-bending mind-meld. Definitely no stranger to the ever-evolving bass music scene, Liquid Stranger has performed at many of the most innovative and forward-thinking festivals on the circuit. While many would classify Liquid Stranger as a heavy dubstep artist, he utilizes genre tags as tools for his musical storytelling. This allows him to seamlessly move in and out of genres as he pleases, all while having his dedicated audience and open-minded listeners along for the ride.
Even though Liquid Stranger is still running high off all the success from his sold-out Wakaan Music Festival 2022, this EP is Liquid Stranger building momentum for his upcoming “DIMENSIONS” tour. Consisting of four tracks, the DIMENSIONS EP is an experimental challange for Liquid Stranger as a producer. Aimed at seamlessly melding old sounds with new styles and beats, Liquid Stranger uses his status as a prominent leader in the free-form bass movement to play in the sandbox for a few tracks and create gold. Liquid Stranger builds on that free-form bass foundation, utilizing reverberating low end beats, cinematic bass, and plenty of ragga to truly turn DIMENSIONS into a pure primal example of this current stage of Liquid Stranger’s career.
