Under Director Aaron A’s Direction, Felix Cartal & Lights Release Vibrant “Love Me” Music Video
Nothing quite tells a story about love as visually as colors. After plenty of waiting, we are taking another trip back to Physical Presents for a brand new music video for Felix Cartal and Lights’s “Love Me”. Felix has been busy, with multiple standalone productions with other producers including successful producer Kaskade. Felix will also be touring internationally so everyone will be able to see it sometime soon. Due to his most recent success, Felix has even garnered over 45 million streams over on his Spotify! Clearly, Felix, you are doing something right. “Love Me’ is only the beginning of a new series of tracks for Felix, so stay tuned!
“The thing that made this collaboration so special is that we’re literally the only two people involved in this song. I wrote an instrumental, Lights wrote an initial lyric idea, we refined the chorus and arrangement together, then she tracked her vocals herself and I did all the production myself. It’s just us two creating every single piece of this song. A true collab. I love how it turned out.” – Felix Cartal
Originally being released back in February, “Love Me” was supercharged to the brim with electric energy that told the story of troubled love. We loved it, and we know you did too. A track like this deserves an equally charged music video and award-winning director Aaron A didn’t disappoint. The music video is visually vibrant, highlighting each character’s vignette with its own color and lighting scheme. This crafts an intriguing feeling of technicolor, almost like nothing is actually tangible and real. Under his direction, it was going to be plenty difficult to not end up with a great product.
