Three Remarkable Talents OddKidOut, Angrybaby, Nina Sung Unite for “COME BACK HOME” a Melodic Collaboration

Week after week we check in with this label and every week we have a new find for our playlist. On our latest visit to Lost in Dreams, we are checking out “COME BACK HOME”, the latest from OddKidOut, AngryBaby, and Nina Sung. OddKidOut, hailing from Philadelphia, has been turning heads in the electronic music scene with his versatile talents as a producer and multi-instrumentalist. His music effortlessly blends genres from trap to future vibes, earning him a supporting spot on San Holo’s 23-date tour and festival appearances at renowned events like Beyond Wonderland Chicago and Tomorrowland. With his dynamic performances and unique style, OddKidOut has solidified his place as a rising star in the electronic music world.

Angrybaby, a San Francisco native with classical training, has made waves with his viral stutter house sound. Following a successful 10-stop tour and sold-out headline shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco, Angrybaby is set to perform at festivals such as CRSSD and Lost In Dreams. His ability to merge traditional musical elements with innovative electronic sounds has garnered him a dedicated following and positioned him as an emerging artist to watch. Meanwhile, Los Angeles-based Nina Sung has been making her mark in the dance music scene with her distinctive voice and melodic-leaning sound. Collaborations with artists like Kayzo and Illenium have boosted her profile, with her work with Illenium amassing 14 million streams and gaining Sirius XM support, further establishing her as an in-demand collaborator and rising talent.

“A few months ago, I drove down the PCH with no music on in my car; I soaked in my surroundings and when I got back to my house, I tried to bottle up those feelings I felt…out came ‘COME BACK HOME.’ As an artist, I try my best to make music that is true to how I feel, and I try to replicate my experiences in the most genuine way possible. Sometimes, that leads to art that is dark—in this case, it leads to art on the lighter side. With Nina’s vocals, I felt like the message of what I was trying to convey in the music came to the forefront. And with Angrybaby’s co-production, we all really hammered the nail on the head! – OddKidOut

OddKidOut, Angrybaby, and Nina Sung unite their talents for a remarkable collaboration titled “COME BACK HOME,” set to release on Lost In Dreams. This melodic house track is a heartfelt exploration of homesickness, with Nina Sung’s emotive vocals leading the way. Her poignant delivery captures the longing for home and loved ones, while the production beautifully balances melancholic tones with uplifting elements. The song begins with atmospheric keys that allow Nina’s voice to shine, and as it progresses, it builds momentum with progressive percussion and guitar licks. The climax is a dazzling mix of luminous atmospherics, throbbing basslines, and vibrant synths, offering a radiant burst of hope and joy without losing its emotional depth.

The collaboration serves as a label debut for OddKidOut and Angrybaby on Lost In Dreams, while Nina Sung continues her musical journey following her previous single “I’ll Be There” with STAR SEED. Together, they create a captivating musical narrative that resonates deeply with listeners, blending familiar themes of homesickness with innovative production techniques. “COME BACK HOME” is a masterclass in musical storytelling, balancing euphoria with introspection to create a dynamic and memorable listening experience.
