Over the past decade, NGHTMRE has surged to the forefront of electronic music from his base in Los Angeles. Co-founding Gud Vibrations with SLANDER, he’s become a powerhouse performer, thrilling audiences at major festivals like EDC Las Vegas and Beyond Wonderland Chicago. With headline shows at prestigious venues such as the National Western Complex and Wet Republic, NGHTMRE’s dynamic sound and collaborations with top-tier artists like ZHU and the Chainsmokers have solidified his status as one of the hottest acts in the genre.

Meanwhile, Liquid Stranger, originally from Sweden but now based in the US, has been a driving force in bass music for over a decade. With a discography that effortlessly oscillates between tranquil melodies and thunderous beats, he’s garnered a devoted following. Fresh off his successful Wakaan Expansion Tour, Liquid Stranger is gearing up for a series of captivating performances at iconic venues like Red Rocks and The Fillmore Philadelphia, as well as his own highly anticipated Wakaan festival. “I first found Liquid Stranger’s music back in 2009, when I was graduating high school. I had just picked up music production and was incredibly inspired by all his bass-heavy dubstep tunes. I’ve wanted to collaborate with him for many years and after sharing a festival transport together, we finally got to meet and talk music! I shared a few vocals I had received that I really loved and he resonated with ‘Restless’ the most. We worked remotely sending ideas back and forth until it was perfectly dialed! Not only was he great to work with, but he is an incredibly nice and genuine person. I’m so happy with how this one ended up sounding. “I’ve been a huge fan of NGHTMRE’s work for years, and after connecting while on the road, we set out to make something special. We wanted to combine elements of both of our sounds with a strong vocal to create an anthem; a tall order. We found the perfect vocal via Mougleta, with lyrics that spoke to us since it reminded us of our busy, rootless, and restless lifestyle. We took our time and really tried to give it the attention it deserved, making it truly special. I’m extremely happy with how it came out and have been testing it at all my shows. Working with Tyler [NGHTMRE] has been a great experience, he’s an amazing person and it’s been really fun to work on this one together.
