Steve Aoki & KAAZE Drop Festival-Ready ‘Head Rush’ EP
Grammy-nominated artist and producer Steve Aoki has teamed up with Swedish producer KAAZE for their first collaborative EP, Head Rush. The project reunites the longtime friends after recent collaborations, including Aoki’s hits “Won’t Forget This Time (ft. John Martin)” and “Whole Again (ft. John Martin),” as well as KAAZE’s remix of Aoki’s “Kyro” from HiROQUEST 2: Double Helix. On Head Rush, the duo blends Aoki’s signature electro energy with KAAZE’s unique Hōt Teknō style, delivering a collection of high-impact festival-ready tracks designed to electrify crowds and capture the euphoric essence of live performances.

The EP opens with its title track, “Head Rush,” featuring techno artist Sarah De Warren. The song combines big-room energy with emotive vocals, striking a balance between intensity and melodic appeal. The release also includes “Give It To Me” and “Self Control,” two additional tracks built for festival stages. Earlier this month, Aoki and KAAZE debuted “Head Rush” and “Give It To Me” at Hypersonic Festival in Sydney and Melbourne, giving fans a taste of the EP’s high-energy, crowd-pleasing sound.
