Snails and Boogie T Release a Funky Vomitstep Experience in "Redline"

While we thought he was busy on tour, our boy Snails is full of surprises. This week we are checking out “Redline”, the latest release from Snails and Boogie T from Snails’ Slugz Music imprint. Snails is clearly a performer that has no limits, as he has been able to garner support from powerhouses such as Diplo and Skrillex for his continuously developing “vomit-step” style. While Snails has been busy trying to find a home for his style, even jumping over to Dim Mak and Monstercat, Snails was quietly launching Slugz with a bang. Why struggle while looking for a home and not create one yourself.
While we know that there aren’t many contenders (yet) in the category, we are going to lay out the red carpet for the “King of Vomitstep” for this one. While Snails does take a step away from the massively bass-heavy style he has developed, that aforementioned style does still shine through. With the help of Boogie T, Snails is able to craft a more industrial, groovy, and dancefloor-friendly track that will still easily fit in his discography. We often don’t hit the “Redline”, but we sure have found our soundtrack when we reach that point.
