It might have been a minute, but BLVNCO is back home at Protocol for his next banger. On our latest visit to Protocol Recordings we are checking out “Same Again”, the latest drop from Romeo Blanco/BLVNCO. BLVNCO is rocking the pool in his own right. Debuting as BLVNCO on Protocol back in 2020, Romeo Blanco has caught the attention of EDM fans worldwide with his previous singles and six main stage performances at Tomorrowland as well as other major music festivals. BLVNCO made a strong debut with “For Your Love” alongside TImmo Hendriks, which immediately sparked momentum for a strong initial start as a professional musician. BLVNCO is best known for his hit “The Mood” with Henri PFR & Veronica, which snagged a spot in the Top 20 on Belgium’s Ultratop list.
Every week we take a look at what Protocol is bringing to the table and the more we cover their range of artists we start to uncover and predict a general idea of what style we’re going to receive when it’s their turn in the rotation. For example, now having covered multiple realeases from BLVNCO has the main producer, we know that if we want some club-ready dark house music we need to go through BLVNCO’s discography. This time around in “Same Again” BLVNCO opens up the track with a cinematic melody and an enticing vocal performance that lures listeners out from the summer night and into their local club to completely let loose of their inhibitions. With only a few singles under his belt as BLVNCO, we can’t wait to hear how Romeo Blanco develops this other persona over the rest of the year.
