Rising Artist Savannah Conley Rises Out of Heartbreak in “Never Want To Be In Love”
What happens you combine the sounds of Oasis with the stylings of Dolly Parton? You get today’s act. This week we are going over to Nashville for “Never Want To Be In Love” from rising songwriter Savannah Conley. Growing up in Nashville and experiencing the music industry from a young age first hand, it was almost pre-ordained that Savannah Conley would be a musician. With a background singer for a mother and a session musician for a father, Savannah’s career would begin at the meager age of 7. By 19, Savannah earned the John Lennon Songwriting award and dropped her critical acclaimed Twenty Twenty debut EP, even gaining praise for Rolling Stone!
Finding plenty of success on her first EP, what lies down the rest of the road? Savannah uses her growing skills as a musician to explore cross-genres. The new single “Never Want To Be In Love” oozes plenty of Savannah’s Southern charm while putting her signature crystalline vocal stylings out on display for anyone to hear. Co-written by Andrew Petroff (Sheryl Crow, Devon Gilfillian) and produced by Gabe Simon (Dua Lipa, COIN), the track dives deep into Savannah’s state of mind as she rises from the ashes of her recent relationship. Already crafting such a timeless, vintage, and fresh sound so early in her career, we have no doubt in our minds that Savannah Conley will be able to build an audience of listeners from all walks of life.
