R3HAB Recruits Norwegian Singer Alida For Dance-Pop Crossover “One More Dance”
The dance-pop cross over king is back and in his true form yet again. On our latest visit over to CYB3RPVNK we were able to check out “One More Dance”, the latest single from R3HAB and Alida. Since his adventure began, R3HAB has toured some of the best clubs in the world and amassed more than 300 million streams of his debut album. What is actually amazing however is that R3HAB was able to accomplish this with no major label backing, only working through his CYB3RPVNK imprint. Through his expanded efforts to increase CYB3RPVNK’s roster, R3HAB has been recruiting a fantastic variety of up and comers to provide a major range of music to his audience. With R3HAB consistently popping up on our radar, we have absolutely no idea what he is going to do next and can’t wait.
However, Alida is a powerhouse in her own right. Discovering her passion for music back when she was 9 years old , where she caught herself recordings her songs in her bedroom. Before relocating to Los Angeles from her home in Norway, Alida took it upon herself to learn piano and began writing her own songs. Since making the move Alida has connected with plenty of skillful artists such as Noonie Bao, Axident, Big Taste, The Orphanage, Cheat Codes, and The Monarch.

“This is one of the first songs we wrote when lockdown started in Los Angeles back in March. A Zoom session with laggy internet between LA and Oslo led to this super on-pulse dance track. I loved working with R3HAB, and we’re so pumped to share this dance track with the world!” – Alida
Alright, we’re sorry to put R3HAB in the crosshairs just a tad, but we need to seriously make songs back above the three-minute mark. Once you’re in the sub-3-minute zone, it almost feels more manufactured and loses a bit of its authenticity. Anyway, R3HAB’s latest collaboration with Norwegian singer/songwriter Alida is yet another fine example of what exactly R3HAB does best, making addictive dance-pop crossovers. Balancing between Alida’s beautiful vocal performance and R3HAB’s breezy melodies, “One More Dance” was delicately crafted with a pure danceable vibe in mind. Alida expresses the song’s overall motif through the lyrics, softly luring the audience into having “One More Dance” at their favorite show.
