R3HAB Dives Back Into Latin Pop With “Pues”, Alongside Megastars Luis Fonsi & Sean Paul
Man, another notch in R3HAB’s belt and another completely unexpected collaboration. On our latest visit over to CYB3RPVNK we are checking out “Pues”, the newest single from R3HAB, Luis Fonsi, and Sean Paul. Since his adventure began, R3HAB has toured some of the best clubs in the world and amassed more than 300 million streams of his debut album. What is actually amazing however is that R3HAB was able to accomplish this with no major label backing, only working through his CYB3RPVNK imprint. Through his expanded efforts to increase CYB3RPVNK’s roster, R3HAB has been recruiting a fantastic variety of up-and-comers to provide a major range of music to his audience. With R3HAB consistently popping up on our radar, we have absolutely no idea what he is going to do next and can’t wait. We mean, just take a look.
R3HAB isn’t the only one to snag all of the glory, as both Luis Fonsi and Sean Paul have made their marks on the world of Latin music. You may recognize Luis Fonsi from his work on the 2017 mega-hit “Despacito” with Daddy Yankee, even though he has been crafting musing since 1998. In 2018, Fonsi was awarded seven Guinness World Records titles for “Despacito,” for distinctions including “most weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart,” “longest duration on the Billboard charts,” and “most viewed video online.” Sean Paul is a Jamaican dancehall artist that has consistently pushed the genre forward. Paul has won multiple awards for his well-known American chart toppers such as “Get Busy/Like Glue,” “Temperature,” Beyonce‘s “Baby Boy,” Clean Bandit‘s “Rockabye” with Anne-Marie and Sia‘s “Cheap Thrills.”.

Latin music has consistently been in our rotation for a good number of the last few years, yet we didn’t think our EDM love would join the fray just like this. As the world is starting to open up and concerts are being announced, we are preparing ourselves for the kind of summer anthem that 2021 will bring us. “Pues” combines the best of electronic beats and melodies with the rhythm and energy that Latin music brings to the table. The track’s sultry music video features TikTok and Instagram superstar Valeria Sandoval, adding an extra inject of star power. While this not R3HAB’s first dabble into Latin music (that honor goes to 2020’s “Besame (I Need You)“} “Pues” proves that with the right talent at the table, R3HAB can indeed thrive in the Latin music scene. Could this be the first summer anthem of 2021?
