PROTOCOL: Teamworx & Sunstars Bring Us “Playin’ Around”
Alright, it’s that time of the month when Protocol starts pumping out release after release. This week we have a new track from two familiar Protocol faces, Teamworx & Sunstars. These two groups have been staples and faces for new talent at Protocol for some time now, so it was only given that they would make a track together. With each group joining Protocol just in 2017, they have been pushing their unique styles all around the world thanks to Protocol’s reach. These two groups need to collaborate more often, just saying.
As for the track, “Playin’ Around” gives that vibe off perfectly, just like these two groups are just playing around to see what fits. The clash of two quite distinct production skills created a new modern party anthem that will light up every day that may feel even remotely dreary. The track has plenty of heart-throbbing melodies that build up to a mega house-electro climax that rounds out the tail. “Playin’ Around” is essentially just a wondrous ball of pent-up energy, and we are completely okay with that.
