Nicky Romero Teams Up With Famed Norwegian Pop Duo Nico & Vinz For Soulful New Dance-Pop Single “Forever” and Announces His First-Ever Open-to-Close Solo Show “Nightvision”
When you’ve reached a level in your career where you could feasibly do anything…what are you going to do? On our latest visit over to Protocol we are checking out “Forever”, the latest collab between Nicky Romero and Nico & Vinz. Romero is one of the modern producers to change and mold today’s electronic music scene how he sees fit. Not only has he founded one of the most prolific modern electronic music movements, but he is also constantly on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list year after year and has attributed heavily to the global spread of electronic music. Romero continues to surprise us, even dropping a mini-doc series back in 2019 and multiple successful releases now that he’s back on the wagon. Hell, he even put on one hell of a performance at the London opening of the Call of Duty League eSports tournament. Romero’s list of accomplishments keeps growing, now including a brand new partnership with Fader Pro and a release of his own NFT collection!
While Romero has been a producer that fans can look toward for pretty consistent singles and other releases, this month is going to be massive for Romero and Protocol fans. While Romero is busy adding “Forever” to his ever-growing catalog, Romero also announced that he will be performing his first open-to-close set at AFAS in Amsterdam at the end of the year. On the release front, Romero joining forces with the likes of Nico & Vinz , makes us all warm and tingly inside, as the minimal driving house beat fits perfectly within both of their styles. However on the set front, Romero’s sonic journey will be showcased in full with the performance including most of Romero’s greatest live moments and singles from tracks he’s played all around the world. Make sure you save space in your calendar for this one, because this is going to be a set you don’t want to miss.
