Love You Later Releases New EP ‘From The Window Seat’, A 7-Track State Of Alt-Pop Euphoria

Normally we have to re-adjust our bearings to shift into the world of alt-pop, but with Love You Later it feels seemless. On our latest visit to the indie world we are checking out From The Window Seat, the brand new EP from Love You Later. Hailing from Nashville, Love You Later is the electronically-infused alt-pop brainchild of artist Lexi Aviles. Since debuting just a few years ago, Love You Later has opened for the likes of OneRepublic, Dayglow, and Briston Maroney,  as well as attended SXSW as an official artist! That isn’t all though, as last year she sold out Nashville’s EXIT/IN and has gained attention from tastemakers such as American Songwriter, EUPHORIA, The Line of Best Fit, FLAUNT, and LADYGUNN just to name a few. Love You Later is currently on a rising path via TikTok and we can’t wait to see that momentum grow even higher now that “KeepInTouch” has dropped.

The past couple years of my life, I feel like I’ve been viewing my life from a bird’s eye view. I’ve been diving into my thoughts and my soul and self-reflecting more than ever. It’s a scary thing to do but I’ve learned more about myself. The title of the EP comes from a lyric in the chorus of ‘Girl With Headphones’ – ‘From the window seat, I feel so out of control, so I’ll be the girl with the headphones on.’ And lately, whenever I’m sitting at the window seat of a car, train, or a plane, I take a step back and think about where I’ve been and how far I’ve come. Each of these songs on the EP represent a thought or feeling I have from the window seat.” – Love You Later

Love You Later’s new EP ‘From the Window Seat’ is a must-listen for anyone who enjoys dreamy, introspective pop music. This 7-track release includes some of the artist’s past hit singles, as well as 3 brand new tracks that showcase the evolution of Love You Later’s sound. One of the standout features of this EP is Love You Later’s ability to pair electric melodies with honest lyrics. The artist’s introspective approach is evident in tracks like “Long Sleeves,” which deals with themes of loss and regret, while “Are You Gonna Care When I Die?” confronts the fear of being forgotten. These ballads are balanced out by energetic pop anthems like “Keepintouch,” which is sure to get listeners dancing along with its catchy chorus.

Love You Later Tour Dates:
May 5 – Nashville, TN @ The End
May 22 – Brooklyn, NY @ Baby’s All Right
June 21 – Los Angeles, CA @ Moroccan Lounge
