Kosling Makes It a Threepeat! Drops 3rd Protocol Single “Long Way Home” With Robbie Rosen
When you’ve had buzz and success from releasing on an imprint, why not make it a threepeat? On a more recent visit to Protocol, we were able to check out “Long Way Home”, the latest from Kosling and Robbie Rosen. Even though this is only Kosling’s 3rd drop on the Protocol label, Kosling joins the ranks with quite a star-studded resume. Kosling found monumental success when his first single “Believe” reached 1 million streams online, leading to more successful drops on Armada Music, Proximity, Size Records, and Revealed Recordings. He’s even earned support and praise from major heavyweights in the industry such as Nicky Romero, Afrojack, David Guetta, and Tiesto!
We may have been following Kosling’s career for a hot minute and it has definitely been interesting to watch as he grows and modifies his sound. Marking his third release on Protocol Recordings, “Long Way Home” puts Kosling’s production skills to the test with American Idol finalist Robbie Rosen to help share the spotlight. Letting pianos lead his production, Kosling uses “Long Way Home” as a workshop to tighten up any gaps in his musical style. The track screams classic progressive house, utilizing instrumentals and upbeat melodies to elevate the sound design to match the energy of Robbie Rosen’s performance. These two artists have amazing creative energy and we can’t help but eagerly await their next collab!
