We may be all just chilling out and away from the masses, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have our own party and let loose. Today we are bouncing on over to Protocol Recordings for “Shake It” a brand new track from JP Candela and Mosimann. With a massively established career over the last decade, we are thrilled to finally have JP Candela join the Protocol family. Candela is an absolute man of the globe, having performed in some of the most esteemed global stages of Ultra Europe, Rock in Rio, and WMC Miami. Candela‘s storied career has taken him on a windy path, even releasing multiple tracks with Spinnin’ Records, Sony Music, and Ministry of Sound to just name a few.
While JP Candela may have top billing this time around, he can’t take all of the credit. Mosimann joined the ranks this time around, bringing his unique style come from the likes of Jean-Michel Jarre, Daft Punk, and David Guetta. Mosimann has garnered quite a bit of his own success, with his track “Never Let You Go” amassing over 3 million streams on Spotify! Mosimann currently serves as a performer and a judge on The Voice Belgium, currently in his fifth year!
We just have to mention that these two powerhouse producers can fantastically bring classic sounds back to modern times. Perfectly crafted for the currently paused night club scene, “Shake It” is a combination of both Candela and Mosimann’s interpretation of classic tech and progressive house. Both producers are well-known experts when it comes to their production abilities, showcasing those skills with the assistance of a classic vocal riff sample. Sampling from “Shimmy Shake” by the 740 Boys, “Shake It” easily provides an addictive bassline to keep us company while we craft our own parties.
