Director Bradley Dunn & CAPPA Release Neon-Clad Music Video For Latest Single “Colder”
Sometimes a simple music video can easily push your message across if carefully crafted. On our dive into the indie world we have a brand new music video for “Colder”, the most recent single from Cappa. Originally hailing out of Philadelphia, it wasn’t until Cappa launched herself to Nashville’s pop scene that she began to find a dose of recognition. Bursting onto the pop scene back in 2015 with her debut single “Hush”, Cappa quickly found her legs and continued to create her own vision of pop music for those who are willing to give a listen. Since her debut she has released two EPs, CAPPA and Queen of Hearts as well as a slew of singles over the years, each expanding her horizon as a musician. After moving to the city of angels a few years later, Cappa has now exploded her catalog with multiple features with talented producers and crafting her upcoming 2021 EP.
We may have been swoon for this infectious pop single when we covered it earlier this month, but if you make a neon-clad music video you know we have to cover it. Hell, it is in a namesake for God’s sake. Directed by the talented Bradley Dunn and filmed in Los Angeles at “The Barracks”, this music video fits perfectly into the overall song’s motif about a relationship ending in a beautiful fire. While the music video may be on the more simplistic side, Dunn and Cappa tiptoe the line between a loving relationship and slowly peeling the layers back as the relationship crumbles away. This music video is one to check out to learn just how powerful a simple music video can be.
