Courteeners Reveal New Track ‘The Beginning Of The End’ (feat. DMA’S) Taken From The Forthcoming Album – ‘Pink Cactus Café’ Out Now

The Courteeners, a staple in British indie rock, have remained a fan favorite across their 16-year career, blending relatable storytelling with infectious, anthemic energy. Their latest project, ‘Pink Cactus Café’, is their first release since 2020’s acclaimed *More. Again. Forever.*, which showcased a deeper, moodier evolution in their sound. Recently, their 2008 debut album, *St. Jude*, reissued in 2023, topped the UK charts, reaffirming its classic status and the band’s enduring appeal. With ‘Pink Cactus Café’, the Courteeners promise fans another chapter of poignant, heartfelt music, rooted in their signature style while exploring fresh influences.

The Courteeners have just unveiled “The Beginning Of The End,” a sweeping, resilient track featuring Australian rockers DMA’S, as they gear up for the release of their seventh studio album, *Pink Cactus Café*, out this Friday. This latest track, praised as “heroic” by *MOJO*, adds to the excitement surrounding an album that promises to expand the band’s sound into new, collaborative territory. The record includes the previously released “Solitude Of The Night Bus” and the title track “Pink Cactus Café,” both of which have gained widespread support on national radio. It also features “Sweet Surrender,” a smooth, evocative track with emerging talent Brooke Combe. With frontman Liam Fray taking on co-production duties, *Pink Cactus Café* includes contributions from notable collaborators like James and Ian Skelly (The Coral), Pixey, Charlie Salt (Blossoms), Ola Modupe-Ojo (Bipolar Sunshine), and Theo Hutchcraft (Hurts), adding a rich blend of influences. Critics are already hailing it as a standout release, with *MOJO* praising its anthemic quality and *Classic Pop* calling it “swaggering… mesmerising… irresistible.”
