There is an unstoppable force lying in wait for us. This week we are jumping on over to Area 25 for “Wait a Minute”, the final track off of Party Favor’s upcoming album Layers. When you have the chance to work with someone like Party Favor, that is definitely not an opportunity that you turn down. With an impressive resume as a genre-bending artist and producer, Party Favor has seen plenty of glory with his multitude of original tracks such as “MDR” and “Give It To Me Twice”. Party Favor has even accomplished quite a bit as a producer for major artists like Lil Jon and ASAP Ferg, with all of his work earning him an impressive 135 million streams on Spotify.
Party Favor has been one of those artists that we have enjoyed watching grow throughout 2019. Party Favor is now diving head first into the party realm, as “Wait a Minute” is definitely his most party-ready track yet. This track is another example of Party Favor’s continued hip-hop influence, as it is hard to limit the hip-hop when you have both Jessie J and A$AP Ferg also in your studio. Both Ferg and Jessie J spit absolutely nasty verses that pair well with Party Favor’s sinister synths and funky basslines to create a perfect middle of the party banger. While we have seen quite a different demon in Party Favor for most of his tracks on Layers, we can’t wait to see what Party Favor will do next.
