Wakaan Label Head Liquid Stranger Drops Bass Heavy “Low”, 3rd Single of Upcoming “B A L A N C E” LP
We’ve been teasing and checking out the wide range of talented producers and artists that come from his label, but now it is time to make way for the label head himself. On our latest visit over to Wakaan we are checking out “Low”, the latest release from the big boss himself Liquid Stranger. There aren’t many producers out in the scene right now the embody the concept of fluidity and have made their name in the practice quite like Liquid Stranger. Our mainstay producer in today’s modern EDM scene, Liquid Stranger makes it completely known upfront that if you are going to partake in a Liquid Stranger experience, you better prepare yourself for a genre-bending mind-meld. Definitely no stranger to the ever-evolving bass music scene, Liquid Stranger has performed at many of the most innovative and forward-thinking festivals on the circuit. While many would classify Liquid Stranger as a heavy dubstep artist, he utilizes genre tags as tools for his musical storytelling. This allows him to seamlessly move in and out of genres as he pleases, all while having his dedicated audience and open-minded listeners along for the ride.

We were going back through our catalog of coverage, and we uncovered just how truly long it has been since we covered the works of Liquid Stranger (we’re looking at you 2017). The third single from Liquid Stranger’s upcoming B A L A N C E LP, “Low” is a multi-faceted soundscape that is simply intriguing to wander through and experience. The track is an amalgamation of genres and styles, with the likes of dubstep, ambient, tribal, and heavy bass all thrown into the melting pot. Liquid Stranger builds out the scope of this world with the ambient synths and tribal percussion that creeks open the front door, but doesn’t kick it down full until the bass drops. Once his signature heavy bass drops, “Low” transforms into a bomb-ass hard bass single that we have no problem losing our minds to. Liquid Stranger, keep being unpredictable and throw everyone for a loop with B A L A N C E.
