Stadiumx Return to Protocol For New Festival Single “Remember” W/ Timmo Hendriks + Robbie Rosen
While we cover Protocol’s roster of talent pretty consistently, today’s artist feels like a blast from the past. On our latest trip over to Protocol we are checking out “Remember”, the newest single from Stadiumx and company. A steady veteran force for Romero’s Protocol Recordings, Stadiumx continues to slay with each new track dropped under their moniker. Stadiumx even had their hand in one of our favorite Protocol tracks, “Rise” alongside label boss Nicky Romero. While initially meeting in 2009 at a workshop in Budapest, it wasn’t until 2014 when the duo started making dance waves on an international level. Their first international hit, “Howl at the Moon”, was premiered at the Amsterdam Dance Event by Protocol label boss Nicky Romero and the rest is history.
When you have this amount of talented artists working on the same track, you have the feeling that it has to be good. While Stadiumx is nowhere near rusty, they brought a bit of extra muscle to add their influence into the track’s creation. Recruiting the likes of fellow Protocol artist Timmo Hendriks and singer/songwriter Robbie Rosen, Stadiumx wants to make their return to the imprint a major splash instead of just a dip into the water. Blending both the Hungarian duo’s and Dutch producer’s dynamic styles, this talented group may have just recreated that classic Protocol progressive house sound we know and love. With Robbie Rosen’s superb vocal performance taking the lead, “Remember” is the closest we’ve felt to an authentic festival experience in the last year. With all of these artists and producers working seamlessly together, they were truly able to capture the core essence of an EDM festival within just one single track.
