Purple Fly Grows! DJ SODA, Hard Lights, & Flaremode Release Jazzy House Single “Close To The Sun”
This label simply can’t be stopped, especially with this amount of momentum. On our latest visit over to Purple Fly we are checking out “Closer To The Sun”, the latest from DJ SODA, Hard Lights, and Flaremode. For those of you who haven’t heard of Purple Fly, it is a brand new music label making a major splash in the current market. A completely independent imprint, Purple Fly embraces the current hype around NFTs in the cryptocurrency world with one goal in mind…support their artists. On a larger scale, Purple Fly aims to support collaborations of all forms of art, connecting music and stunning visuals for a truly immersive experience. The label will be dropping NFTs with each music drop, allowing direct support from fans for their favorite artists. There are many artists joining in the movement, including DJ SODA, Hard Lights, Flaremode, IZKO, Danny Ores, Drezio, Laidback Luke, BLVD., Fatman Scoop, Shaquille O’Neal, Sevenn, and more as part of the Purple Fly roster. With more and more talent joining their ranks, Purple Fly is going to be a major force to be reckoned with very soon.
Once you take a look at a production where there are more than a handful of artists, you might start to get that “too many cooks in the kitchen” feeling. However, while that often could be the case once your studio is stuffed with talent, there are those prime moments when everyone works with one unified mind. The follow-up single from DJ SODA’s Purple Fly debut back in August, “Closer To The Sun” is a deep tech-house bop that reminds us of warm nights as we move deeper into the winter. Utilizing jazzy instrumentals to set the stage, the track subtly builds to an absolutely groovy drop that we keep us dancing deep into the night. With DJ SODA, Hard Lights, and Flaremode all busy building the track’s framework, STORME’s breathy vocals fit neatly into this jazz house world that has become “Closer To The Sun”. We hope to see more of DJ SODA, Hard Lights, Flaremode, and STORME on Purple Fly as some of the most wild music can be crafted with just a bit of freedom.
