Protocol’s Marcus Santoro Drops New Hopeful House Music EP “A New Day”
There is something absolutely magical about melodic house music, especially when a professional is behind the beats. On the latest dive into the Protocol world we have A New Day, the latest EP drop from the ever-talented Marcus Santoro. Marcus Santoro is still relatively new on the scene, but with a few notches under his belt. Since originally joining the scene, Santoro has released multiple tracks and remixes on the Enhanced, Armada, and Flashover labels finally settling in with Protocol. Since joining Protocol back in 2019, Santoro has attributed his talents to the rest of the Protocol roster, making his style know to the masses. While we have already had our initial taste of the EP in his previous drop, we are excited to hear the rest of the EP!
While we have been adjusting and enjoying Santoro’s sound over the years, this brand new EP showcases his mastery of production. Weaving three distinctly different styles into a completed project, Santoro allows listeners to hear the other facets of house music that he has to offer. Recruiting the talented artists Lauren L’aimant and Roan Shenoyy, Santoro’s two brand new tracks serve as an example of his range as a producer. “Give Into You” is an absolutely solid melodic house gem, with L’aimant’s sultry vocal performance lifting the experience to the next level. Santoro elevates the groove factor in “Symphony”, taking listeners to a darker yet still club-friendly side of house music.
