NEW FROM DIM MAK: Viceroy’s Funky and Soulful Anthem “Improvise”

While we have received plenty of advice over the years, one of the best (especially in the art world) is “fake it until you make it.” The newest artist to be showcased here on MiR, Viceroy, is a definite example of this. When he is not busy traveling the world playing disco and house-inspired hits, Viceroy has been developing a loyal and devoted fan base that can’t help but fall victim to his chill vibes. Viceroy is definitely keeping himself busy and will be performing at major festivals Life is Beautiful and Electric Forest.

Viceroy’s latest release, “Improvise”, is a perfect introduction for new listeners (much like ourselves) to Viceroy’s style. Taking heavy inspriration from disco, “Improvise” captures Viceroy’s essence of summer and puts a refreshing funky twist that we are starting to see more of. While “Improvise” could have just been another “summer anthem”, the track features soul beats that take it another step further. If anyone can add more depth to a track it would be Viceroy.

Be sure you give “Improvise” a full listen below:
